THINK FAT LOSS NOT WEIGHT LOSS

Updated: May 7, 2022

Here's why...

Our bodies are made up of different components like muscles, fat, bones, organs, water, etc.

The Body weight includes all of the above components from the body.

When you see the number on the scale go down it could be from one or a combination of fat, muscle and water loss.

That’s it! Weight loss is simply a loss of overall body weight and not just FAT.

When we say we want to lose weight, we actually want to lose fat, while retaining or even building muscle mass.

To lose fat effectively, one needs to eat in a small deficit from the maintenance calories, consume enough protein in diet and do resistance training 3-5 times a week.

Staying active, sleeping 7-8 hours and drinking 3-5 liters of water is also instrumental in not just fat loss but for overall health as well.

Lastly, do remember that it takes time!

You didn't gain all that FAT just like that. It took you months, even years if not decades to establish unhealthy lifestyle/ habits as a result of which you have gained fat.

Go easy on yourself, give yourself time and trust the process.
